Integrated Asset Modelling is a very beneficial method of modelling entire oil and gas production systems in order to optimize them. As expected, most oil and gas operating companies today will tend to have some ongoing integrated asset modelling activity. However the success of such activities is mixed. One of the reasons why oil and gas personnel may obtain minimal benefit from integrated asset modelling efforts is due to a misunderstanding of how to understand, analyse and apply the results that are being generated from the integrated asset modelling activity.
Based on Eta’s significant experience of developing, building, benchmarking, simulating, analysing and applying integrated asset models, some tips and common examples of analysing integrated asset modelling results are presented.
